Pages

A page comprises 1,375 strokes, including spaces. In practice, a page has 25 lines with 55 strokes per line. Hence, the project’s cost is calculated by dividing the total number of strokes in a document by 1,375 to obtain the exact number of translated pages or fractions of the same.

Words

Every word is assigned a unit cost that varies from language to language, irrespective of the number of strokes it contains. Hence, the project’s cost is calculated by multiplying the word’s unit cost by the document’s total number of words.

Lines

A line comprises 55 strokes, including spaces. Hence, the project’s cost is calculated by dividing the document’s total number of strokes by 55 to obtain the exact number of translated lines or fractions of the same.
